Baked Vidalia Onion

  • 1 medium to large Vidalia Onion
  • Margarine or butter
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • Garlic powder
  • Salt and Pepper





  1. Peel onion, cut into quarters but do not cut all the way through.
  2. Place the onion on a double sheet of foil square (foil square should be large enough to wrap onion and twist on top).
  3. Put butter, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt and pepper on the onion and twist on top.
  4. Place covered onion on a corning ware or baking dish with sides and bake in oven at 350° for about an hour or until done.
